Trainers, breeders, and Pokémon across multiple regions are banding together in what is being called the largest Pokémon labor movement in history. The newly formed Pokémon Union has demanded better working conditions, comprehensive healthcare, and access to mental health support for both Pokémon and trainers.
“Pokémon do more than battle—they perform deliveries, assist in rescues, and even participate in competitive events. They deserve respect, healthcare, and fair treatment,” said Pikachu spokesperson for the union.

Regional officials are scrambling to respond. The Kanto League Committee has promised to investigate the claims, while Professor Oak announced plans to introduce “Union-Approved Pokécenters” that provide better medical care and counseling for both Pokémon and trainers.
“This is a historic moment,” said Professor Oak. “We must ensure our heroes—both human and Pokémon—are healthy, safe, and empowered.”
Meanwhile, social media has exploded with the hashtag #PokémonRights, and several Pokémon from different regions staged peaceful sit-ins at major gyms, including Pewter City, Celadon, and Lumiose. Pikachu, Charizard, and Jigglypuff were seen leading chants demanding reform.
